Let It Be the Fate
Schopenhauer’s decision that
To live alone is the fate of all great souls
Nevertheless shows how the souls feel lonely
In the human veins of instinct.
The blind life flees away and
Echo of love is so reluctant that
Time and tide is regrettable
For nowhere satisfaction can be found.
Let’s assume that the time which
Looked indefinite entangles into the lone trail
So that we have often a sorrowful clue
With the tides of a dock rolled away
And our regretful walk is stranded.
Whether the road which was not taken has been
Unable to be trodden or to return where we were is
Ambiguous enough to remain a puzzle of the earth.
